A note from the sorting room

Why the swap exists

Started in 2011 as a bin bag swap between eight families from a playgroup in Ballintemple.

Children grow faster than any budget does. A good coat should go on to a second child, not into a bin. It started with eight families and a kitchen floor, and the post did the rest. Every bag is still opened by hand, and every bundle is packed to your note.
